Even though PlayerMania.com has gotten off to a slow start, I still think we are going to come together at the end and win the league.  This is my first year in this league and so far its been really competitive and there are some really great players.

This is the 3rd Downers Grove League I've participated in, and I have to say, this field of 10 teams is probably the most competitive of the three.  Just when you think TC is gonna run away with thing, they lose two in a row.  Anything can happen and the playoffs are going to be unbelievable!  Too early to call a clear cut favorite just yet.

Watch out for WHODAT, they are slow out the gate with a 0-2 start but a team to watch out for.

If they can get some identity they may be able to turn around there slumping season. They have VETERAN player

Stephen "Steve" Agbohlah still trying to get into shape as he is one of  the oldest players in the league. He brings a lot

of  experience, he was a baller back in the day when Chuck Taylors and Pro Keds were the shoes to wear; and when there

was no three point line. For you yongsters, there was a time when ever shot was only worth two points, if you  don't

believe me ask "Steve" .  He played in the era of no shot-clock so this league is great for him. His stats are down,

averaging zero points a games but I predict a "Breakout game "  as you should see a different game plan from WHODAT

and a little inspiration from my post to one of the oldest guys in the league and the WHODAT Team. They all need to

play the winning style and remember no "I" in team and no "win" in the WHODAT column.

Ciao for now from the man from down under bringing the thunder.

Peace out Keith from Sydney, Australia

The question I have (which Im sure other players in the league have), is who the hell is WHODAT?! Of course I find the name as ironic as I find their identity, but what really is there to watch out for?  A couple of the teams in the league have that one "Veteran" player who is as slow as Mr. Hare, however, offers some sort of expertise for the other players,  but whats new?! How can one predict a breakout game from a team who has no "solid" identity, stats that flunctuate like the stock market and players that has been around since the stone ages?! No pun intended!  Actually, I am beginning to see the direct irony in Keith from Sydney, Australia' s post....gotcha' bud! On the up-side, if you really want to watch out for a team in this league, it's PLAYERMANIA. Yes, we are back and much, much stronger! Yes, I'll admit that the guys got off to a rocky start first game, but when you have all great players, the key is to focus on connecting and working together. Having key players D. Wolf with the  pull-up and drop 'em from the outside, to Stephen "Big Man" Bolt whos versatility will only serve to maximize the teams talent....PLAYERMANIA my friend, is going to dominate this time around!   For more to come.....

From the sidelines,
